Since I’ve heard so many great things about this I gave it a try. I’ve read this book when I finally finished TRUTHWITCH  and I was glad because it was a fun & light read.

SETTING

So this book was set in a contemporary world. And we have here some places like Grove Academy, The TeaHouse (which is my fave, even tho it’s a place for old people) & etc.
So I’ll give it

CHATACTERS

HARPER PRICE, our heroine & narrator in the book. She’s a kind of person that wants everything to be perfect. She’s funny & hilarious tho, I’m glad that her personality changed when she accepted her fate as a Paladin.

DAVID, our heroine’s enemy-turned-to-love interest. I like David he’s cute 😍 His character is a typical YA contemporary  + he’s a kind of a geek tho.

WRITING STYLE
 
It was a fast-paced read for me so the writing was fine & so hilarious.

PLOT

I didn’t expect that the Rebel Belle story would be like that. I have tiny bit issue about the plot. It was kind of fast-forward plus the SAYLOR-HARPER scenes are kind of awkward. But I like it, I love the ending and I was kind of disappointed there ain’t no plot twist in the story. But it was ok for me so I’ll give it.

FAVORITE PARTS

I have a lot of fave parts in this book.
Like when Harper become a Paladin, the chasing scene, & also the romance between David & Harper.

ALL IN ALL

Rebel Belle is a fantasy set in the contemporary world, and it was my first time to read a book about Paladins, Oracles & Mages. I really like this book because It was so hilarious & I love the characters.
And there ain’t no hard drama & super mean villain.
So it’s definitely a light & fun read for me.
All in All I’ll give it
